spokesman Scientology Church of Germany, Jürg Stettler, rises serious allegations against Mark Lanz Show from 04/11/2010.
The pre-recorded half-hour talk show with two ex-members and the Speaker of the church was subsequently cut massively. The audience was fooled, however, attend a live talk show. This degenerates the "Make TV," to manipulate the audience.
Some concrete examples that the ZDF were submitted:
- Numerous statements by the spokesman of Scientology have been cut out simply. The spokesman of Scientology estimates that were dropped in this way almost 50% of its discussions.
- In at least one Case was cut out his answer to a question from the moderator and later added a statement that did not fit into the context. The audience wondered why the moderator's question went unanswered.

I was asked by the Scientology Church, to give my expert opinion on two far-reaching questions: (1) the occurrence of apostasy in the new religious movements, and (2) the credibility representations of the apostates of their former religious beliefs and practices. These two issues are of crucial importance of a proper understanding of new religious movements, as these apostates often as reliable informants for their earlier beliefs and practices in press publications and even in scientific studies on non-traditional movements are chosen. In addition, a limited number of apostates filed damages claims, in which they variously deceptive their previous religious and charge of fraudulent practices or physical and emotional duress. On the other hand, these individual plaintiffs often acts as an expert witness in other cases against the new religions of either government authorities or by hostile Dissidents were submitted.
